Encountering God in India
An Indian mission experience intended to increase each team member’s vision of world missions and to develop a closer personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This trip will have several unique components:
Mission training through workshops with Indian pastors and special speakers – some of the focus studies will be: History of revival and Evangelism in India (William Carey, Amy Carmichael, etc.). Understanding Indian culture, religious faiths of India and how they are being reached, and more
Deepening each team member’s personal relationship with the Lord, each morning team members will focus on topics intended to deepen their faith. Some of these topics are studies of evangelism and intercession, being a person of vision, discerning and using God’s gifting in day-to-day life, etc.
Experiential mission practical experience – exposing team to what God is doing in India through the evangelical efforts of the Indian church, working alongside native pastors in church ministry, evangelical outreach ministries to remote villages, widows ministry, children’s ministry, prayer walks, intercessory prayer, and visit Hindu temples
Outreach location: Bangalore, India and locations in Southern India within three hours of Bangalore
